Benjamin Martinez

Benjamin Martinez, 56, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in his home.

Mr. Martinez was born April 9, 1969, in New York City, a son of Jesus Martinez and the late Geronima (Garcia) Martinez.

Benjamin was a member of Prevaling Word World Outreach Center, New Castle.

He had a passion for cooking and enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music.

In addition to his father, Benjamin is survived by two sons, Dmitri Martinez, and Benjamin Martinez, Jr.; three daughters, Zyara Martinez, Alexis Martinez, and Rebecca Silas; a brother, Joey Ramirez; three sisters, Maggie Martinez, Annabelle Martinez, and Joyce Martinez; and two grandchildren, with another on the way.

In addition to his mother, Benjamin is preceded in death by a sister, Minerva Martinez.
