Benjamin Michael Cadman, 47, of Sharpsville, passed away suddenly due to an extended illness on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Ben was born on April 13, 1977, in Saratoga Springs, NY, a son of Ronald and Karen (Irwin) Cadman. He graduated from Indian River High School, Chesapeake, VA. Following high school,
Ben continued his family tradition of serving his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a proud "Navy Vet" and was in the Vetaran's Club and Student Government while studying at Penn State University Shenango Campus. He earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Penn State in 2013. Additionally, in August of 2007, Ben completed and passed EMT training.
Following his college education, Ben began working in hospitality, where he found his calling. He started at Bob Evan's in Hermitage and New Castle. Later, he was a manager at Arby's Restaurant in New Castle and recently transferred to the Grove City location.
A sports fanatic, he looked forward to supporting his boys and was a member of the Sharpsville Grid Iron and Basketball Boosters. He was also a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penn State.
Ben was able to find joy in several things, whether it be in a wide variety of television shows, comics, video games, or fishing at his family cottage. He also liked reading novels by Stephen King and Tom Clancy, and listening to music by Garth Brooks and Toby Keith.
He is survived by his wife, the former Nicole Koewacich Tedrow, whom he married on March 10, 2007; three sons, Travis Lee Cadman, Greenville, Aiden Michael and Lucas Alexander Cadman, both at home; his parents, Ron and Karen Cadman, Greenville; his mother and father-in-law, Michalene and Ron Koewacich, Sharon; his father-in-law, Don Tedrow and his wife Arlene, Ellijay, GA; a brother, Aaron Matthew Cadman and his son Jacob and grandson Liam, Norfolk, VA; a brother-in-law, Ron Tedrow and his wife Kristin, Clark; and his nieces and nephews, Damon Tedrow and his wife Jenna, and Zack and Michaela Tedrow.
Ben was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Irwin; and his paternal grandmother, Helen Cadman.
