Barbara Jean Kapusta, Village Path, Hermitage, passed away peacefully at 7:55 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, following an extended illness. She was 68. Barbara was born Aug. 16, 1946, in Sharon, a daughter of Edward and Mary Moldovan Petsko. A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Farrell High School. In her early years, she worked at Packard Electric, Warren, Ohio. She also worked as a waitress for several local establishments, including the former Oak Room and Domenico's Restaurant, both in Hermitage, and she retired from (West) Middlesex Diner in 2012. Barbara enjoyed spending her winters with her son, daughter in-law and grandson in North Port, Fla., for many years. She also enjoyed taking walks in Buhl Farm park in Hermitage, dancing, trips to the casino, and simply sharing conversation and coffee with friends at the local Denny's restaurant. She leaves her close friend and companion, Frank Bucciarelli, Farrell; her daughter, Donalyn M. St. Esprit, Wheatland; her son, Shane Kapusta, and his wife, Cindy, North Port; two brothers, Edward "Bottie" Petsko, and his wife Diane, Brookfield; and Lewis "Kippy" Petsko, and his wife Nancy, Atlanta; two grandchildren, Stephen S. St. Esprit, Wheatland; and Devon Kapusta, North Port; and a great-grandson, Stephen R. St. Esprit. She was preceded in death by her parents.
