Barbara Ann Fisher of New Castle passed away peacefully early Friday morning, May 3, 2019, in Edison Manor. She was 84.

Mrs. Fisher was born April 8, 1935, in Greensburg, PA, a daughter of the late Michael and Sophie (Demeter) Wislocky.

She married her husband and beloved companion of more 30 years, Dale Six, on June 24, 2016, in Bob Evans Restaurant, New Castle. He survives at home.

Barbara retired in 2014 from Nemenz Food Store, Struthers, OH, where she worked as a food demonstrator for 30 years.

Barbara was of the Protestant Faith.

She served as the president of the former North Beaver Garden Club, and bowled in several leagues at the former Mohawk Lanes.

Barbara enjoyed gardening and decorating elaborate Ukrainian Easter Eggs. Most of all, she loved to travel the country with her husband, Dale.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by a brother, Theodore Wislocky, of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her two sons, Eddie and Dennis Fisher.

A graveside service will be held at noon Thursday (5-9-2019) in Westfield Presbyterian Cemetery, 1363 Mt. Jackson Rd., New Castle, with Rev. Dennis Bupp, officiating.

Interment will be in Westfield Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Jackson.
