Barbara A. "Barb" Butler, 76, of Masury, OH, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening, March 2, 2025, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

Mrs. Butler was born on August 16, 1948, in New Castle, a daughter of Doris (McCurdy) Harrison. She attended New Castle and Sharon School Districts.

Her husband of nearly 58 years, Robert F. Butler, whom she married on June 18, 1966, passed away on May 19, 2024.

Barb loved to crochet, play bingo, watch soap operas, and was a cat lover. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by five children, Robert Butler, II (Tina), of Brookfield, OH, Albert Butler (Darlene), of Hartford, OH, Monica Clawson (James), of Andover, OH, Gregory Butler (Renene), of Sharon, and Craig Butler (Jackie), of Jamestown, PA; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her mother, of New Castle; four sisters, Roberta "Pete" Bishop, Mary Sari, Leona Gudyk, and Karen Hobel; and four brothers, Butch, Bryan and David Hobel, and Harry Dennis.

In addition to her husband, Barb was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Hobel Lee; and a brother-in-law, Scott Bishop.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Grove City Pet Rescue, 300 Oak St., Grove City, PA 16127.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday (03/06/2025) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, in the funeral home, with Rev. Marcia Grim, officiating.
