Austin Lee Lauper

Austin Lee Lauper, 29, of Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Austin was born April 11, 1997, in Titusville, PA, a son of Robert and Christy (Witzigman) Lauper. He was a 2015 graduate of Keystone Charter School, Greenville, and went on to complete the welding program at Laurel Technical Institute in Hermitage.

Austin worked as a welder for several local steel manufacturers.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and loved pick-up trucks, many of which he worked on regularly.

Above all else, Austin loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter, Brielle Lauper.

In addition to his daughter, Austin is survived by his maternal grandmother, Cherie Witzigman, Hermitage; two cousins, Bobby Stefanowitz and Arron Yankowitz; and several extended family members and friends.

Austin was preceded in death by his mother, Christy; and a beloved uncle, Robert Witzigman, Jr.

Services will be held privately.

Interment: Morefield Cemetery, Hermitage.
