Audrey Marie (Fleischer) Infante, 84, of Hermitage, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, in Quality Life Services, Mercer.
Audrey was born April 15, 1938, in Farrell, a daughter of the late Samuel and Suzanne (Fialko) Fleischer. She was a 1956 graduate of Farrell High School.
She was employed for more than 30 years, at the former Kroger grocery store, Hermitage, and was the head cashier prior to the store's closure. While working at the grocery store she met Alberto Infante. Later, they married in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell. Together they had a son, Albert "Toby" who was born in 1970, and six months later, Alberto passed away.
Upon the closure of Kroger, Audrey worked for the former Abe Cohen Auto Parts, Hermitage. She always worked thoroughly and enjoyed it. She loved meeting people and genuinely found joy in helping others.
For many years, she visited numerous local businesses to collect donations for Dr. Piston's 5K race, which helped and supported someone with special needs. One year, she visited over one-hundred businesses.
Audrey was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed baking for Christmas and making kolaches for her family and friends. Additionally, Audrey loved making lunch for anyone attending physical therapy with her.
Audrey was raised of the Lutheran faith and was a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church, Farrell, where she received her confirmation. Later, she attended Faith Presbyterian Church, Hermitage.
She is survived by her son, Albert "Toby" Infante; a sister, Carole (Evan "Bud") Swogger; two brothers, Robert (Debbie) Fleischer and Richard (Shelley) Fleischer; sister-in-law Jeri (Biddle) Fleischer; many nieces and nephews, William and Victor Fleischer, Evan, Jr., Brian, Eric, Brad and E. MacKenzie Swogger, Heather, Rich, Denise, Beth Ann and Jimmy Fleischer; and many loved ones.
In addition to her parents and husband, Audrey was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Longo and Patricia Buckner; and two brothers, William and Samuel Fleischer.
All services are private.
Interment: St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage.
