Ashley Lynn Hassel of Sharon passed away at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, with her loving family by her side. She was 30.
Ashley was born April 11, 1987, in Sharon, a daughter of William N. and Esther (Byers) Hassel and was a 2005 graduate of Sharon High School. She was employed at Dominos Pizza, Sharon, Paramont Games and American Cap, both in Wheatland.
Ashley was a loving daughter who enjoyed her two fur babies, Indie and Buddah; her companion, Lindsey Comeione and her daughter, Candance Reiseg. She also enjoyed going to Nelson's Ledges and playing her djembe drum.
She is survived by her mother of Sharon; a sister, Kristin M. Paoletta and her husband Marc; two brothers, David A. Hassel; and Robert B. Hassel and his wife Jessica, all of Sharon; three nephews, Giovanni Alberini; god son, Liam Paoletta; and Luca Paoletta; three nieces, Tabitha, Sara and Amanda Hassel; a special little cousin, Zaydin Musch; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ashley was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, Norman and Ruth Hassel; and Paul and Mary Byers; an aunt, Debbie Hinkle; an uncle, Bob Hassel; and a half brother, William Hassel, Jr.
Ashley's family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses in the ICU. They were all wonderful. Ashley was an organ donor, and was able to save five lives.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday (09/09/2017) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, in the funeral home with Rev. Matthew Strickenberger, pastor of St. Bartholomew Church, Sharpsville.
Burial: America's Cemetery, Hermitage.
