Anthony M. "Tony" Dillon, Sr., 64, of New Castle, formerly of Sharon, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, April 30, 2024.
Mr. Dillon was born on December 14, 1959, in Sharon, one of five sons of Anthony "Crabbie" and Bridget (Donatelli) Dillon. He attended Sharon High School.
He enjoyed cooking for others and his passion for making food inspired Tony to attend culinary school, enabling him to become a phenomenal chef. Next to cooking, he was also a sports fan. He played softball for Sts. Peter and Paul Church and closely followed the Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Orioles, and Milwaukee Bucks. Tony also loved music and fishing with his brothers.
He is survived by two sons, Anthony Matthew Dillon, Jr., Mercer, and Jacob Dillon, Sharon; a grandson, Anthony M. Dillon III; three brothers, Douglas Dillon (Roberta), Hermitage, Geno Dillon (Trina), Pittsburgh, and Bryan Dillon (Shannon), Sharon; three nephews and a niece.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Christopher Dillon.
