Annette "Nini" Maher Broadbent, formerly of Christy Rd., Hermitage, passed away at 9:19 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2019, in St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage.  She was 82.

Nini was born March 26, 1936, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Charles "Chic" and Ione "Boots" (Ogden) Maher.  A graduate of Sharon High School, she retired as a manager from AT&T where she was employed for nearly thirty years.  Nini was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon.

Her husband, William M. Broadbent, whom she married November 22, 1978, passed away April 22, 2008.


She is survived by a niece, Terri Etheridge; and several loving cousins and dear friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Nini was preceded in death by a brother, Charles "Chickie" Maher.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at St. John XXIII Home who took such wonderful care of Nini for the past ten years.  They will be forever grateful for loving Nini like family and keeping her in their hearts.

Calling hour will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home, with Rev. Thomas Whitman, pastor of St. Joseph Church, Sharon, officiating.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
