Anne M. Sniezek, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, October 20, 2018, in her residence. She was 97.
Mrs. Sniezek was born May 7, 1921, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Ignatius and Nora (Czuba) Bodziach. She was a 1940 graduate of the former East Brook High School.
Her husband, Eugene J. Sniezek, whom she married November 9, 1940, passed away December 12, 2002.
A homemaker, Ann was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sharon. She and her husband owned and operated a construction business for many years. She enjoyed traveling and gardening.
Surviving are: two daughters, Eugenia "Genie" A. Ray and her husband Frederick Ray, of Hermitage; and Dr. Norene M. Moskalski and her husband Dr. Michael Moskalski, of Bear, Delaware; a son, Daniel E. Sniezek and his wife Dawn, of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Anne was preceded in death by three sisters, Bertha Czubek, Stefania Gorgacz and Frances Softish; and a brother, Joseph Bodziach.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Stanislaus Cemetery, c/o St. Stanislaus Church, 370 Spruce Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.
A private Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Stanislaus Church, Sharon, with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Hermitage.
