Anne M. Fruit, Rancho, California, formerly of Tamplin Street, Sharon, PA passed away peacefully at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday (6-13-12) in Rancho of natural causes. She was 92.
Mrs. Fruit was born April 22, 1920 in Sharon, a daughter of George and Elizabeth Schumacher Fabrey. She graduated from Sacred Heart Elementary School and Sharon High School.
She retired in 1987 from the Packard Electric Company, Warren, Ohio where she was a production worker for 28 years. Previously she was employed for 11 years as an assembler for the former Sharon Transformer division of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Sharon, Pa.
She is survived by one daughter, Gail Wilson and her husband Dale, British Columbia, Canada; a son, Thomas Fruit and his wife Shirley, Sacramento, California; three sisters, Frances Capson, Bradenton, Florida; Eva Buzzeo and her husband Michael, Hermitage and Betty Lou Bochert, Valrico, Florida; she is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Rose Marie Antonino, Elizabeth Cagigas, Catherine Mazza and Evelyn Kubisch; and three brothers, Henry 'Hank', George, and Joseph Fabrey.
