Obituary

Anne L. Bobish, Bobish Rd. Pulaski, passed away peacefully at 10:46 p.m. Friday (7-18-14) in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage. She was 85. Anne was born February 8, 1929 in Sharon, the daughter of Michael and Mary Golias Horvath. She attended Sharon Schools through 8th grade and graduated in 1947 from Brookfield High School. Prior to her marriage she worked in the blue print room at the former Sharon Transformer division of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. A homemaker, Anne was an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex. She was a 15 year volunteer at the Prince of Peace Center, Farrell. She enjoyed crocheting and was famous for making terrific pirogies. Her husband, Joseph E. Bobish, whom she married May 6, 1950, passed away September 26, 1995. She is survived by three daughters, JoAnne Magnotto and her husband Tim, Hermitage, Mary Beth Onderko and her husband Bruce, Arizona and Tanya M. Bobish, Hermitage; two sons, Marc E. Bobish and his wife Kim, Ruskin, FL, and David M. Bobish and his wife Kathie, Nokomis, FL; a brother, Robert Horvath and his wife Mary Ann, Brookfield, OH; nine grandchildren, Timmy Magnotto, Matthew Magnotto, Annie Magnotto, Katie Bobish, Ben Bobish, Jessica Bobish Little, Abigail Bobish, Zachary Bobish, and Rachel Bobish; and four great grandchildren, Ava, Eden and Gabriel Little, and Ezekiel Bobish, and a sister in law Mary Horvath, Sharpsville In addition to her husband and parents, Anne was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, Joseph, and John Horvath, and two sisters, Mary Strobl, and Helen Boron. Calling hours: 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday (7-20-14) and from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Monday (7-21-14) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon, PA 16146. Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at10:30 a.m. Monday (7-21-14) in Church of the Good Shepherd 3613 Sharon Rd, West Middlesex, with Msgr. Robert M. Malene, pastor as celebrant. A procession to the church will leave the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning. Internment: St. Michael's Byzantine Cemetery, Hermitage.
