Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday (6-7-12) for Anna M. Yesko, John XXIII Home, Hermitage, and formerly of Transfer, Pa., who passed away peacefully with her family at her side at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (6-2-12) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 81.
Miss Yesko was born December 10, 1930 in Sharon the daughter of John J. and Magdalene Bassick Yesko.
A lifelong area resident she graduated from Sacred Heart School and attended Sharon High School.
She worked for more than 40 years at the former Angela's Beauty Salon in Sharon.
A devout Catholic, Anna was a lifelong member at Sacred Heart Church, Sharon. She prayed the holy rosary every day of her entire life and she was a daily communicant while living at John XXIII Home.
She enjoyed working on crafts, arranging flowers, a good game of bingo, and collecting recipes, she will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her sister Rita Esmond and her brother in law Robert, Transfer, and her two brothers, David Yesko and his wife Janice, and John Yesko, all of Greenville, and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Margaret M. 'Honey' Yesko, and a sister in law Mildred Yesko.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Sacred Heart 40 South Irvine Ave., Sharon, or to the John XXIII Home 2250 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage, Pa. 16148.

The family asks that everyone go directly to the church the morning of the funeral.
