Anna Sivulich Wortman, Brookfield, passed away at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday (2-16-16) in Shepherd of the Valley, Niles, Ohio. She was 76.

Mrs. Wortman was born November 16, 1939 in Dixonville, PA the daughter of Michael and Mary Taczak Sivulich.

She was a 1957 graduate of Brookfield High School.

She worked as an educational assistant (EA) in the Brookfield School District for 31 years, retiring in 2004.

She was an active member of St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Sharon, where she served on the Church Board and was Past President of the St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox League.

She enjoyed making Ukrainian ceramic artifacts and crafts, and she also enjoyed golfing.

Her husband, Paul R. Wortman, whom she married on May 11, 1963, passed away October 24, 2007.

She is survived by two daughters, Dianne and her husband Mike Argenziano, of Florida, and Tina Marie Zarella and her husband Alfred of Wooster, OH; a son Paul Christopher Wortman and his wife Rachel G. , Girard; six brothers, Dr. Stephen Sivulich and his wife Alice, Carnegie, PA, , Nick Sivulich, Indiana, Joseph Sivulich and his wife Kathy, Hubbard, Gerald "Jerry" Sivulich, Twin Falls, ID, James Sivulich and his wife Kathy, Hermitage, and her sister Mary Kloss, Sharpsville;; 8 grandchildren , 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Michael Sivulich Jr., a sister Jane Jancso, and a niece, Janey Cole

The family suggests memorial contributions be made St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 389 Clark St., Sharon, PA  16146.

Calling hours: 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Sunday (2-21-16) and from 10:00 until the time of service Monday (2-22-16) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State Street, Sharon. a panikhída service will be held at 2:30 Sunday in the funeral home.

Services:   11:00 a.m. Monday (2-22-16) in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Andrew J. Gall, pastor of St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Sharon, officiating.
