Anna R. Marshall, formerly of Yankee Run Road, Masury, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, in John XXIII Home, Hermitage, where she was a resident for nearly seven years. She was 98. Mrs. Marshall was born in Farrell, a daughter of Thomas Gaetano Bartolon and Carmella Mancuso Bartolon. She was a graduate of Farrell High School and worked as a group leader at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp., prior to her marriage. Anna was a homemaker and an active member of St. Stanislaus Kostka- Holy Trinity Church, Sharon, and its Ladies of Charity. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 5286, Farrell. Anna enjoyed gardening and outdoor work. Her husband, Raymond A. Marshall, whom she married Feb. 23, 1952, passed away March 19, 1983. Surviving are: a son, Homer T. "Scotty" Elberty and his wife Gloria, Sharpsville; three grandchildren, John Elberty and his wife Andrea; Daniel Elberty and his wife Tami; and Cathy Faber and her husband David; and five great-grandchildren, Anthony and Madison Elberty, Jacob and Isabel Faber, and Devan Ungerer; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Anna was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Dorothy Combine, Mary Bartolon, Grace Bartolon, Jessie Becker and Florence Losik; and two brothers, James and John Bartolon.
