Anna May (Fox) Johnson, formerly a 30 year resident of Clifford Dr., Hermitage, passed away Wednesday morning, February 8, 2012, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health system at the age of 102.
Anna May was born in Sharon on October 30, 1909 to the late George Edward and Catherine Doyle Fox.
She was employed as a stenographer at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corporation where she met the love of her life, Paul Murian Johnson, whom she married September 1, 1930. He passed away July 3, 1984.
She was a charter member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, where she was a former choir member and table skirter. Having lived the majority of her 102 years as a resident of Hermitage, she was a former member and past president of the Hermitage Women's Club. She enjoyed playing the piano, bowling, golf and crafting and was a talented flower arranger.
Anna May leaves her loving family, daughters, Corliss Reigelman of Avon Lake; and Carol Vadala and son in law Dominic Vadala, Hermitage; and a son Robert Johnson and daughter in law Mary Johnson, Evans City. She was a cherished grandmother to David Reigelman, Mark and Tracy Reigelman, Tarri and Mike Barron, John Vadala, Darin and Tammy Vadala, Carla Vadala, Scott Johnson and Amy and Chuck Nasiadka. She was a beloved great grandmother, GG as she was called, to David Reigelman, Mark Reigelman, Kristina Reigelman, Amanda and Mark Walaan, Amber Barron, Christopher Vadala, John Vadala, Dominic Vadala, Tabatha Vadala, Damin Vadala, Tori Nasiadka, Alex Nasiadka and Sophie Johnson; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Anna May was preceded in death by four brothers, Paul Fox, George Fox, Robert Fox and William Fox and two sisters, Eleanor Miller and Catherine Scragg.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Calling hour will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. today, February 10, 2012, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:30 a.m. today, February 10, 2012, in the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, with the Rev. Jeffery J. Noble, pastor, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
