Anna Marie Bohn, 75, of Edinburg, died at 6:32 p.m. Monday evening, December 30, 2024, in the Grove at New Castle.
Anna was born April 12, 1949, in Salzburg, Austria, a daughter of the late Joseph Bohn, Sr. and Aloisia (Horvat) Bohn. She celebrated her third birthday on the boat coming to America in 1953.
For eight years, Anna worked at Boise Cascade in Orlando, FL, and later drove semi-truck all over the U.S. from 1985 to 1993. She then worked as a secretary at MVP Home Improvement, Poland, OH.
Anna was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed bowling and loved spending time on the computer.
She is survived by two daughters, Roberta McCollums (James J. Micco), of Edinburg, and Tammy Nichols (Chris), of Ohio; two granddaughters, Sabrina Kennedy (Fred) and Brianna McCollums (fiancé, D.J.), both of Pennsylvania; a grandson, Tyler Nichols, of Ohio; and two sisters, Eva Ronci, of Florida, and Katherine Bigley, of Struthers, OH.
Besides her parents, Anna was preceded in death by two brothers, Rudolph Bohn and Joseph Bohn, Jr.; and two sisters, Eliza Ripp and Mary Cipot.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.
A Blessing Service will immediately follow at 5 p.m., in the funeral home, with Deacon John Carran, officiating.
Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery, New Castle.
