Obituary

Ann March Segada, Crestwood KY, formerly of Rettig Drive, Hermitage, Pa, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 4, 2009, in Baptist Hospital East, Louisville, Kentucky. She was 91.
She was born on October 18, 1917 in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of Frank and Anna Zancek March.
She graduated from Hickory High School and in her early years she enjoyed working as a cashier at the Columbia Theater in downtown Sharon.
She also worked for the former Sharon Transformer Division of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
She was a longtime member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.
Her family was the greatest joy of her life. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The sunshine that she shone upon them will be deeply missed.
Her husband Joseph J. Segada, whom she married on October 18, 1941, and with whom she shared many travels during WWII, survives at the residence. Not only did they travel, but also made their home in different areas of the country, from Arizona, to Pennsylvania, to New York and Kentucky. In moving to these areas they shared a home with their beloved son, James and his family.
She leaves two daughters, JoAnn Jones, Hermitage, and Linda Nitch(Gary) New Castle, one son James J. Segada and his wife Lynn , KY; six grandchildren, Shelly DeMay, Heather Greathouse, Jennifer Santiago, Nicholas Segada, Matthew Segada, and Catherine Segada; and two great grandchildren, Paydon and Timothy Greathouse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mary Schnur and her husband George, and a son in law Robert F. Jones.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Buhl Park Corporation and sent to Buhl Park P.O. Box 709 730 Forker Blvd. Sharon, PA 16146. Please write Ann Segada in the memo of the check please.

Services: A funeral service for family and friends will be held a 10:00 a.m. on Friday (4-10-09) in Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Road, Hermitage, Pa. 16148
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage
