Angeline “Angie” (Vicario) Leonard went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 24, 2025. She was born on January 24, 1938, to the late Michael and Frances (Masters) Vicario in Sharon, PA. Angie’s life was centered around her family and friends. She married Eugene “Gene” Leonard on July 30, 1960. They had 65 wonderful years together. Since she lost her mother at the age of two, she strived to be the best mother possible, and she was.

Over the years, Angie had a few different careers. Her first job was as a switchboard operator with Bell Telephone. She also worked at Donofrio’s, Daffin’s, Mercer County Credit Union, and as a housekeeper for Notre Dame parish, as well as others.

She spent many hours volunteering at Sharon Regional Hospital and UPMC Shenango.

Angie loved being with others. Some of the groups she belonged to were Cursillo, Notre Dame’s card club, and OWLS dinner club. Additionally, she served as president of the Notre Dame Ave Maria Society and Treasurer for the Sharon High Class of '55 reunion committee. Angie also enjoyed bowling and was on many teams, including the Farrell teacher’s bowling team.

Angie and her best friends gathered every Christmas to do a cookie exchange, which included lifelong friends, Evelyn, Cynthia, Joann, Bonnie, Odelia, and Judy.

Surviving is her husband, Gene; daughter, Diane (Alex) Pearson; a son, Brian (Mellony) Leonard; four grandchildren, Alex (Barb) Pearson, David Pearson, Nicolette Leonard, and Kara Leonard; two great-grandchildren, Simon and Micah Pearson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Angie was preceded in death by two siblings, Frank Vicario and Josephine Childress.
