Obituary
Angeline Marie Bonaquist, a lifelong resident of the Borough of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2011, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, with family members surrounding her. She was 86.
Born September 1, 1925 in Sharpsville, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Philomena Palombi Bonaquist.
She was a 1943 graduate of Sharpsville High School and then was employed at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corporation. She later worked as a sales clerk at the former W. T. Grant Company, Hermitage, and retired from the janitorial department of Sharpsville Area School District.
She was a devout catholic and a lifelong member of St. Bartholomew Church, Sharpsville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Bonaquist; three brothers, Peary Bonaquist and his wife Geraldine; Dante Bonaquist and his wife Catherine; and Raymond 'Ram' Bonaquist; and a niece, Anita Louise Ray and her husband Tom.
Surviving are: a niece, Catherine Novak and her husband Robert, Transfer; a niece, Pereane Stewart and her husband Richard, Port Orange, FL; a nephew Peary and his wife Clara, Mansfield, MO; a nephew Dante Bonaquist and his wife Debbie, State College, PA; a nephew, Ramon Bonaquist and his wife Maria, Oakton, VA; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
She loved visits with family and friends; and reminiscing and telling stories about the 'good old days.' Aunt Angie will be remembered for her sense of humor, her cheerful nature, her love of children and her devotion to her faith. She possessed excellent culinary skills and enjoyed family pizza parties and get-togethers, especially around the holidays.
The family suggests memorial contributions to benefit the Elevator Fund at St. Bartholomew Church, 311 West Ridge Ave., Sharpsville, PA 16150.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday (12-14-11) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday (12-14-11) in St. Bartholomew Church, Sharpsville, with the Rev. John Lynch, retired pastor, as celebrant.
