Andrew J. Frank, 89, of Farrell, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, March 2, 2025, in St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage.

Mr. Frank was born October 18, 1935, in Sharon, a son of the late Steven and Mary (Janosko) Frank. After graduating from Farrell High School in 1954, he enrolled at DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago, IL.

Andrew enlisted and served in the U.S. Air Force until being honorably discharged in 1959.
For 30 years, he worked as a field engineer for IBM, Youngstown, OH. Andrew was also a skilled carpenter, and during retirement, he worked alongside his cousins, Jim and Carmen Trenga, building cabinetry.

Andrew was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell.

His beloved wife of 61 years, Angela (Trenga) Frank, whom he married on June 22, 1963, survives at home.

Andrew is also survived by a son, Andrew D. Frank (Colleen Fasline), of Neshannock Twp.; a daughter, Melanie Carbon (Carl), of Poland, OH; four grandchildren, Taylor Richards (Connor), Domenic Frank, and Gabriella and Gianna Carbon.

In addition to his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Robert Frank; and three sisters, Ann Kuzniar, Jay Painter, and Elsie Stefanak.
