Andrew Michael Burns, 3000 Lakewood Dr., Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, June 1, 2012, at home. He was 36.
Mr. Burns was born May 21, 1976 in Sharon, a son of James and Cathryn 'Kate' Coyne Burns.
He attended the former St. Joseph Parochial Grade School, Sharon, and was a 1994 graduate of Kennedy Christian High School, Hermitage.
Andrew was the maintenance director at Lakewood Manor in Hermitage and the installation manager for Masters Security, Boardman, Ohio.
He served with the US Marine Corp. and was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, Post 1338, and the Sons of Italy, Shenango Valley Post, both Sharon.
He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians and enjoyed golfing and archery hunting. Andy was a gifted carpenter and would often help family and friends with projects. He will be remembered by many for his kindness and generosity.
Surviving are: his companion, Danielle Robinson; his mother, Cathryn 'Kate' Burns, Hermitage; his father and step-mother, James and Renita Burns, Sharpsville; two brothers, Brian Burns and his wife Debbie and their children, Brendan James and Brianna Marie, Neshannock Twp., Lawrence County; and Tim Burns and his wife Julie, Sharon; grandparents, Charlie and Betty Terpack, Sharpsville; a niece, Cadence Marie Robinson; aunts and uncles, Mary Jane and Al Spadin, Schellsburg, Pa; Kevin Coyne, Fairfax, Va.; Michael and Lori Coyne, Philadelphia, Pa.; Rosemary Coyne, Gallup, New Mexico; Joseph Coyne, Sharpsville; Patricia Coyne, Sharon; Richard and Sue Burns; Sharpsville; Jeffrey and Dawn Burns, also Sharpsville; and Tim and Lori Terpack, Sharon; and numerous cousins.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. John and Marilyn Coyne; and an uncle, Patrick Coyne.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, with the Rev. Jeffrey Noble, pastor, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage, with military honor's rendered by the West Middlesex VFW and the Wheatland American Legion Honor Guard.
