Amber Rose Rager, 31, of Wheatland, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, in her home.
Amber was born October 27, 1986, in Sharon, and is the daughter of Beatrice Loreen (Rager) Morsillo and Daniel Christopher Morsillo.
She attended the former Msgr. Geno Monti Parochial Grade School, Farrell, and St. Joseph Parochial Grade School, Sharon.
Amber graduated with honors from Kennedy Catholic High School, Hermitage, where she was also a cheerleader, and earned her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development from Kent State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
She was a dedicated pre-school teacher for eight years in Catawba and Caldwell Counties, North Carolina, where she was the recipient of the "Teacher of the Year" and the "Rookie of the year" awards.
Amber found enjoyment in nature, the ocean and her students.
Surviving are: her husband, Robert Joshua Copeland; her parents, Dan and Lori Morsillo, at home; two sisters, Elizabeth Morsillo, also at home; and Jennifer Likens (Paul), of Brookfield, Ohio; her grandparents, Rose Rager, of Hadley, Pa.; and Jim and Nancy Morsillo, of Hermitage, Pa.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Rager.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Prince of Peace Center, 502 Darr Ave., Farrell, Pa. 16121.
