Allan L. Owens 63, of Hermitage, passed away Sunday evening, August 31, 2025, in Edison Manor Nursing Home.

He was born on January 24, 1962, in Fairfax, VA, a son of Lester L. Owens and Barbara (Racey) Jewell.

Allan worked as a farmhand since he was in his twenties, and he looked forward to family get togethers.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Jewell, Tionesta, PA; two brothers, Lester Owens, Hermitage, and Robert E. Owens, Masury, OH; a sister, Leslie Ann Owens, Reedville, VA; and a daughter Amanda Updike, VA.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday (9/9/25) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
