Albert R. "Bert" Province, Jr., 69, of South Pymatuning Twp., passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, in his home.
Bert was born on May 3, 1953, in Sharon, a son of the late Albert and Matilda "Tillie" (Kosiorek) Province, Sr. He was a 1971 graduate of Sharon High School.
He was a longtime employee and retired from the former Parker Hannifin, which was previously Commercial Shearing and Commercial Intertech, Youngstown, OH. He also worked for Output Sound and Lighting, setting up for numerous national acts.
Music was the love of Bert's life. He was an avid country/rock drummer, and throughout the years shared the stage with many bands around the area. His second passion was for muscle cars. He owned several cars in his lifetime, his favorite being his 1969 Chevrolet Nova Super Sport. He also enjoyed gardening, R.C. Airplanes, motorcycles and dogs.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lori Graham, whom he married on February 1, 2002; three daughters, Billie Daugherty (Bruce), Mercer, Shelby Merrill (Scott) Willow Grove, PA, and Jessica Province, Hermitage; three sons, Albert Province, III and his fiancé Renee Brest, Springfield Twp., PA, Anthony Province (Katrina), Hermitage, and Nicholas Province, Sharon; ten grandchildren, Denver, Bennett, Addison, Haley, Kaden, Elizabeth, Anthony, Lucas, Amelia and Baby Merrill on the way; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two former wives and the mothers to his children, Gloria (Yoest) Mackaly, Hermitage, and Marian Linton, Mercer; a sister-in-law, Melody Province, Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bert was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Scharville and her husband Michael; and a brother, Lawrence "Sonny" Province.
A celebration of life will be 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, in the pavilion of Thelma's Sports Nook, 285 East High Street Extension, Sharpsville, PA 16150.
A service will be held in the pavilion at 2:30 p.m.
