Agnes Aiello, Park Drive, Farrell, passed away peacefully of natural causes at 11:55 a.m. Monday (12-1-14) with family at her side. She was 100. Agnes was born in Farrell June 6, 1914 one of seven children born to Giovanni and Rosa Ferrara Petrillo. She was raised in Farrell and attended Farrell schools where she was proud to have received a double promotion. A homemaker, she belonged to Our Lady of Fatima -St. Ann's Church, Farrell. A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she loved cooking and preparing traditional Italian feasts for her family, she especially enjoyed preparing Christmas Eve dinner with the seven fishes and much much more. Her greatest joy was found when spending time with her family and she simply enjoyed catering to anyone who visited her home. She also enjoyed playing bingo and her trips to the casino where she would try her luck. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Donna D'Amico and her husband Tom, Farrell, Bernie Zappa, and Geri Ference and her husband Richard, all of Hermitage, her son Dr. Ronald Aiello and his wife Jerri, Poland, Oh; five grandchildren, Susan Zappa and her husband Parker Dunlap, Jill Littleton and her husband Matthew; Shawn Ference and his wife Maggie; Brett and Jacob Aiello; and four great grandchildren, Jack and Matthew Littleton and Luke and Ellie Ference. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, her parents, three sisters, Mary Cannone, Josephine Branca, and Rose Costa, three brothers, Nicholas, Frank, and James Petrillo, and her son in law Edward Zappa. Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday (12-5-14) in Our Lady of Fatima Church 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, with Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor of the church as celebrant. A brief prayer service will begin at 9:15 a.m. Friday (12-5-14) in the funeral home before processing to the church. Internment: St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage.
